People don't always come to counseling with a clearly defined problem. Sometimes you know exactly what's wrong. Sometimes you just know that something isn't working.
I provide individual counseling for a range of concerns and life circumstances, including:
Managing worry, low mood, overwhelm, difficult emotions, and changes in motivation or functioning.
Processing difficult experiences and understanding patterns that may have been passed through families and relationships.
Exploring self-image, confidence, identity, beliefs about yourself, and the experiences that have shaped them.
Understanding yourself and developing practical ways to navigate attention, organization, emotions, relationships, and everyday life.
Working through communication, boundaries, conflict, attachment, family dynamics, and recurring relationship patterns.
Making space for the many ways loss can affect us and finding ways to move forward while carrying what matters to us.
Navigating changes in relationships, school, work, family, identity, or other circumstances that leave you unsure of what comes next.
Providing a space to talk honestly about difficult thoughts and behaviors while developing greater understanding, safety, and support.
Sometimes you just want to understand yourself better, make a change, or feel more intentional about the life you're creating.
"You don't have to fit neatly into a category."
These are some of the concerns I commonly work with, but counseling isn't a checklist. Your experience may not have a name — or may involve several things at once. If you're unsure whether counseling with me is the right fit, feel free to contact me and we can schedule a free consultation.
I work with preteens, teens, and adults, beginning at age 10. Sessions are approximately 50–55 minutes, and I offer both in-person sessions in Dripping Springs and telehealth.
